By day, I’m an accounting professional. Photography is what happens when I get to shut down the spreadsheets and use the other side of my brain.
MY STORY
It started with landscapes...
and grew to so much more
In 2018–2019, while my husband was deployed, I opened Crystal Clear Moments and started photographing people in addition to places. Somewhere along the way, it became more than just something creative to do.
Military life gave me a different perspective on photographs. For a long time, our time together was limited, unpredictable and sometimes measured by the next goodbye. I learned to take what we could get, document it and make sure our kids had those pieces of our life to look back during times of separation.
Eventually, I realized I wanted to do that for other families too, especially military families who understand that sometimes life doesn't wait for the perfect time. I've been the mom trying to document as much as possible before another separation, and I've watched my kids live through it too. There's an understanding that comes with having been there.
That's a big part of what Crystal Clear Moments became: capturing people, personalities, belly laughs, beautiful places and all the little moments in between, because sometimes the ordinary moments are the ones you end up being the most grateful you kept.
